AC Replacement

When replacing beats repairing, we tell you straight

A new system is a big call. We measure the house, size the equipment properly and install it clean — so the unit you buy lasts the years it should.

There comes a point where another repair is money thrown at a system that will not make it through the next summer. When we look at a unit for replacement, we tell you what we found — the age, the condition of the coil and compressor, what it would cost to keep it going — and let you decide.

If replacement is the right call, we size the new system to the house rather than simply matching whatever was there. An oversized unit short-cycles, never pulls the humidity out, and wears itself down early. The right size runs longer, quieter and cheaper.

Installation is where most systems are won or lost. We set the line set properly, pull a real vacuum, charge to the manufacturer's spec, and check the airflow before we leave. Then we walk you through the thermostat and the filter schedule so the system starts its life the way it should.

Ask about financing if you would rather spread the cost, and about a maintenance plan to keep the new unit under warranty and running right.

01

Honest assessment

Repair or replace — you get the facts and the numbers, not a sales pitch.

02

Sized to the house

Load is measured, not guessed, so the system runs the way it was designed to.

03

Clean installation

Proper vacuum, proper charge, airflow verified before we pack up.

04

Handover you understand

Thermostat, filters, warranty paperwork — explained in plain language.

How do I know it is time to replace?
Age, refrigerant type, how often it has failed and what the next repair costs against the price of a new system. We put those side by side for you.
How long does a replacement take?
Most residential changeouts are done in a day. If ductwork or electrical needs work, we tell you that up front rather than on the day.
Do you handle the old equipment?
Yes. The old system is removed and disposed of properly as part of the job.
