What a heat pump actually does in South Florida
Down here, a heat pump spends roughly 95% of its life in cooling mode, which is why we size and commission one the same careful way we size a straight AC system — for the humidity load first. Get that wrong and the house feels clammy at 74 degrees. Get it right and you run warmer, drier and cheaper.
